There's a reason why elderberry syrup is often like the gateway drug for folks entering the herbalism realm. Along with fire ciders, elderberry syrups are an easy way to add immune support into your daily routine. Elderberry is helpful for maintaining immune systems against flus, colds, viruses, and even upper respiratory infections.
I have elderberries as one of the active herbs in my Osha Syrup, but since I fell upon the great fortune of having friends who recently purchased a home with an abundance of elderberry, I decided to make this syrup as well! I added local honey, some rose hips (for extra vitamin c!), fresh ginger juice for super anti-inflammatory/anti-oxidant) and cinnamon to the mix. It. tastes. lovely.
Elderberry syrup can be taken all season long as a preventative medicine (1 tbsp. a day). You can take it straight up, add it to your tea or other beverages, or even drizzle it on your morning breakfast (think pancakes and oatmeal!).
This listing is for a 3.3 oz. amber glass bottle of syrup. Please keep in the refrigerator and use within a few months.
