Rest Well Pillow Mist: an aromatherapy blend that encourage good sleep and eases insomnia
This is my offering for those of us who sometimes need more ritual around bedtime. We live busy lives, and our minds are often overloaded with thoughts/ideas/worries/etc. that keep us from easily sleeping properly. I have Rest Well Bitters & Herbal Tea which are both helpful ingestible products for sleep. This is the aromatherapy version of that help!
Besides for smelling absolutely wonderful, the oils I chose for this blend are beautifully sedative, comforting, and helpful for relieving nerves that create tension in our consciousness. This way, sleep will come easily.
Here are some of the oils included:
Marjoram: a strong sedative, eases all sorts of physical and emotional tensions, normalizes blood pressure, helps even those with insomnia find the ability to balance and rest
Lavender: well loved for many reasons, but it’s one of the safest oils and eases nerves, insomnia, exhaustion, and depression. Super balancing for the emotions, helps with relaxation, and one of the most researched herbs/oils for insomnia.
Cypress: eases insomnia, anxiety, nervousness, and grief. It’s also a good oil for clearing sinuses, so may help with better breathing while asleep.
Chamomile: lovely sleep aid, and counters insomnia well.
Geranium: often described as a sedative, but also helpful for emotions that weigh on us: a balancing oil.
