When I was asked to create a fragrance and candle as merch to accompany The Swell Season on tour this summer, it was a coalescence of people and creativity that I hold very dear. I’ve been friends with Glen and Marketa for nearly 2 decades, and to attempt to capture them energetically in scent was a full body “yes” for me. It catapulted me into an intense all-consuming study of perfumery on a deeper level, and what emerged is something I’m proud of. 

Thread the Light will be coming out as a full sized bottle under our new perfume house MALKA SIMA soon! For now you can continue purchasing this scent either in the discovery set, or here in The Swell Season branding.

This is a fine fragrance which smells like a golden orb to me which is funny given its aromatic makeup but that’s what it feels like to me. A warm hug.

Head- Bergamot, Incense
Heart- Patchouli, Rose
Root- Warm Wood, Musk, Moss

Housed in a 15ml. violet glass bottle with atomizer. The fine fragrance formula is a blend of individually chosen essential oils, botanical isolates, resins, and aroma molecules. We are IFRA compliant.
